Rottendorf Foundation supports and promotes "Emergency Pharmacy of the World"

With the ongoing and planned establishment of a medication warehouse in Tanzania, the Rottendorf Foundation and action medeor, also known as the "Emergency Pharmacy of the World," are making a regional contribution to the East African country and its neighbors.

The construction, setup, and operation of the 850 square meter warehouse will be supported by the Rottendorf Foundation over a period of 4 years until the end of 2027, and will continue to be accompanied thereafter. The location of the warehouse is Kibaha, a suburb of Dar es Salaam. In the future, the pharmaceutical ware-house will not only improve medical care for people in and from the region but will also serve as a hub for the distribution of medications to Malawi, Burundi, and Rwanda.

Making Medications Available in Poorer Regions of the World

The goal of improved medication supply, the scale of the project, and the focus on multiple countries in accordance with the foundation's statutes have convinced the Rottendorf Foundation to establish the "Kibaha" project in collaboration with action medeor. Every single employee at Rottendorf plays a crucial role in ensuring that we fulfill our social responsibility as a foundation and company.
