Total Process Ownership
As Company Culture
It is our claim and our self-perception that Rottendorf will become the CDMO with the highest level of customer orientation through TPO. Rottendorf generates added value for our customers, because we take on the responsibility for our customers achieving their objectives.
For every task set us, we put ourselves in the role of our client by understanding the overall process behind the set task and making the customer’s objectives and expectations our own. Built on this, we proactively prepare holistic solutions and implement these with great precision.
For over 80 years now, our company has proven to be a trustworthy partner in the fields of Service and Production for individual customer requirements. Not many companies possess such experience and also have the opportunity to shape their future themselves. The unique ownership structure preserves the independence of the company, ensures long-term sustainability and permits the investment of profits into the company. Rottendorf therefore has true entrepreneurial freedom.
As in the pharmaceuticals market itself, a progressive concentration process can also be observed in the field of contract manufacturing. The special company structure of Rottendorf Pharma, which is unique in the market, represents a counter-concept to its capital market-orientated competitors.
This protects the company against takeovers and also represents a stability factor which facilitates the long-term planning of collaborations between Rottendorf and their customers. In this way, we remain a reliable partner for our customers in the long run.
Rottendorf Pharma runs an energy management system certified in accordance with ISO 50001. The assumption that many advantages result from the ISO 50001 energy management measures has been confirmed both for the environment and for the company. With regard to the environment, for example, we are able to reduce our emissions and our energy consumption. In addition, the energy management acc. ISO 50001 brings financial benefits.
However, our consciousness of the importance of sustainable company management in terms of the protection and the preservation of our environment remains at the forefront of our trading processes. We take on responsibility: Think globally, act locally!
In addition to regular investments in state-of-the-art facilities and machinery, Rottendorf is also constantly expanding its know-how regarding new production technologies, product developments and technology transfer. The continuous competence development of our employees within the scope of the Rottendorf Academy is also part of our self-perception and one of the key factors for sustainable success. In addition, Rottendorf has orientated its organisation as full-service provider so that it can take on complete process responsibility both for the technological processes and for the supply chain processes. The added value resulting for the customer increases Rottendorf’s appeal on the market for long-term and sustainable partnerships.
Environment Health Safety
Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) comprises all the laws, rules, guidance and processes designed to help protect employees, the public and the environment from harm.
At Rottendorf Pharma we have a dedicated EHS department which is responsible for designing and implementing appropriate procedures in the workplaces for environmental protection, occupational health and safety at work.
Our EHS management, from a health & safety standpoint, is creating organized efforts and procedures for identifying workplace hazards and reducing accidents and exposure to harmful situations and substances. It also includes training of personnel in accident prevention, accident response, emergency preparedness, and use of protective clothing and equipment.
From an environmental standpoint, it involves creating a systematic approach to complying with environmental regulations, such as managing waste or air emissions all the way to helping our sites reduce the company's carbon footprint.
Last but not least Rottendorf’s EHS program also includes measures to address ergonomics, air quality, and other aspects of workplace safety that could affect the health and well-being of employees and the overall community.
