Rottendorf Academy

Interview with Annette Gausepohl, Head of Rottendorf Academy

What is Rottendorf Academy?
We offer comprehensive special and interdisciplinary qualification measures within the scope of the Rottendorf Academy. In this regard, we do not condone “one-size-fits-all” learning, which is why we also focus our attention on expanding the skills of individual employees within our team.

For this purpose, the Rottendorf Academy can rely on highly-experienced employees who have made the company into what it is today. This know-how is used for the profit of other employees in training modules.

Their skills, methods, know-how, industry and technical expertise represent valuable internal knowledge. In order to reach our customers’ objectives, we would like to continue with the establishment of this “culture of excellence”.

What is the idea behind this?
The constantly increasing demands that we as manufacturers of pharmaceuticals in solid form have to satisfy, call for ongoing change and improvement processes. In this regard, Rottendorf Academy’s most important mission is to ensure that every employee acquires the competence needed to satisfy the constant demands.

“My vision is that all employees succeed at increasing their competence in seminars of choice using at least 3 days per year, allowing them to realise their professional objectives and, in so doing, also helping them to promote their personal development.”

“In hands-on training with our company-own experts and by means of subsequent mentoring, our employees attain a very high level of competence.”

What is the Academy’s essence, what characterises it?
In hands-on training with our company-own experts and by means of subsequent mentoring, our employees attain a very high level of competence. They also need this for their daily work that calls for both quality and economic efficiency, so as to ensure that they take the right decisions in an appropriate time and act accordingly.

Who is the Academy for?
Rottendorf Academy is committed to supporting and challenging all of our employees in their respective field of work and to stimulate their will to develop further personally, making them even more successful.

What is your vision for the Academy, what would you like to have attained in 5 years?
My vision is that all employees succeed at increasing their competence in seminars of choice using at least 3 days per year, allowing them to realise their professional objectives and, in so doing, also helping them to promote their personal development.

And for the entire company, I would like to achieve the following: on the one hand, I would like to see the very high level of employee competence result in a competitive advantage for Rottendorf on the global market. On the other, I would like this to result in a relaxed and healthy working atmosphere our employees enjoy working in.
